Eles eram melhores amidos. Realmente melhores amigos. E a proximidade estava lá. Realmente estava. Os toques suaves, as carícias casuais. Mas era casual, com certeza. ... Ah, dude, tu és muito carente. Brendon comentou sentindo o abraço apertado. Ryan parou o scroll para olhar para ele, sobrancelha arqueada. Foste tu que me abraças-te! Protestou, não realmente incomodado. Bem, sim. Brendou riu suavemente perante o falso ofendimento. Mas tu não me paraste.

Arabella looked at Pete as if he were an angel who had just come down from heaven. He didn't realize she was there - he couldn't either. Silverwood was at this festivity in its entirety, people forming throngs around them. She wasn't sure he would want to see her. The Midnight Whispers.

A child's fears should not be ignored because children are fragile and cannot fend for themselves. They are vulnerable to all kinds of demons. Mainly me, the grotesque being who just regained his crown. The worst demon you could play with. Have you ever stopped to think that if you look under your bed, maybe I'll be there? Or even inside your wardrobe, where you were terrified of meeting a monster? I am that monster. I am all these monsters. I'm the demon that could be after you right now and you don't even think about it. I am no longer the man with an impeccable voice I was in life, I am the only ghost you will see tonight.

The Decapitated Dynasty.

Everyone is afraid of something, from the silly to the supernatural. Some are afraid of death, afraid of what might happen when they close their eyes to the deep sleep that is said to last forever. Religious tend to try their best to act correctly during their lives to pass to Heaven after the last breath, because they believe that those who do not go to the Light, go to the darkness of Hell. But there are people who don't believe in anything that involves deities, because they say there are scientific explanations for everything. I always thought that when I died, my journey would end and I would be nothing but a pile of bones. But I discovered who I really am and I say you will be welcome to the end of ages. You can only see one ghost tonight.
