Where Germany finds itself on the cusp of losing, when England secretly develops a weapon to end the war: A steam-powered heart. The Inventor is a person who has recently become public: Edwin Thursby, a widower who was trying to revive his wife at all costs. A few days after being called to work with the English government, Edwin Thrusby disappears and his projects go with him. Leaving only one letter, the British believe Edwin is being held hostage in Germany. The Society is not aware of the Edwin Thursby story. Only the image of genius and savior of the fatherland sold by the team of King George VI.
