Daryl Dixon has always lived on the fringes of society. Considered by many as a marginal "white trash", both Daryl and his brother, Merle, always knew the weight of the real meaning of the word survive. On a mild summer night, Daryl has to go to a bar on the far side of an abandoned highway to complete a dirty job for his brother. There, the younger Dixon would come across a strangely familiar face... A face framed by a mischievous smile that symbolized his turn of the game. Two archers. A shot in the dark. And luck finally came to smile on him.

“Here is another one of the many incredible stories already written by Menta that is well worth following. If you are a reader of HI, it is a must to read, I would say, and if by any chance you have not yet read the beautiful work that inspired this alternative universe, it is a great invitation to be introduced to the protagonists of a wonderful story, as well structured and incredibly faithful to the TWD series - Hunter's Instinct (Look how competent Ariba is, Mentinha, it makes two recommendations in one, hehehe). Seriously, give both stories a chance, I guarantee your reading time will be incredibly fruitful! Faced with a scenario that had everything to slide into the commonplace, into the cliché of a hyperglycemic and even empty romance, the author Menta once again shows all mere mortals that she is a point out of the curve, and that she came to Nyah knowing exactly what she was doing, hehehe! "Shooters" was written in the right ways, not only to exalt a wonderful ship (an eternal OTP from Nyah, who I very affectionately call Cupisquila), but also to make it clear that a zombie apocalypse wouldn't be necessary to unite them on equality , no matter how great the differences between these two characters are. Something that was probably, on some level, challenging to develop, as Daryl is an extremely self-deprecating character. I've been a long-time fan of this wonderful writer, Menta, and this one, as well as her other stories, makes it very clear why. Success, Mentita, you deserve it, you diva!”
