After the death of his mother and father, Barry now sees Daphne dying in front of him. Finding himself in that situation, he decides to go back in time and save his mother the night she was murdered. Now Barry has created a new reality and will have to deal with its aftermath.

Thomas opened them first, taking me carefully from his arms and looking around.
Caitlin didn't want to hear any words from Barry that would try to mask the beautiful tragedy to which, from the start, they were doomed.
In that moment, and for all the last four years, he felt like he would be able to accept anything that came from Caitlin, as if time hadn't flown from both of them in different directions.
Barry carried the weight of the world on his back and his heart on his sleeve, the perfect combination to form that finale.
