Far from Chesord and Emperícia, as well as the calamities that befell between these two realms, was a small realm that lived in relative peace but had its problems to solve. The kingdom of Sortiny was struggling to grow, but it was being constantly attacked by bandits and invaders, who took advantage of the extermination of the warrior witches of the Darphai clan and the consequent fragility to steal the people and their goods. In response, the kingdom took some measures, including hiring mercenaries and bounty hunters.
