Synopsis

Winter 1986. A violent snowstorm was falling outside the house, forcing him to stand by the fireplace that warmed his pale, now warm skin. The twigs that were placed on that huge grate caught fire immediately, and for some time he stood there stirring the scorched twigs with that rusty iron bar for as long as he had; causing the ash to scatter like the fluffy snow of that time of year. {WonTeuk}

You are my Release

If you wanted to hear a sweet and beautiful Christmas story, about a warm and happy family... Or the tales that tell about Christmas magic, I'm sorry to inform you, but that's not the kind of story I'm going to tell you. What happened that night was something extremely unpleasant. If you want to read about kissing under the mistletoe, I think it's best not to continue. I know there are other places you can find it. However, if you want to know about a story of survival of souls forgotten even by God, and in a way, about redemption... About demons, bloody pacts and so many other things that nobody tells you at Christmas... So stay. This is not a Christmas tale. There are no colored lights, no milk cookies for Santa... This is the story of young Cho. And life is not always fair, or beautiful.

He rested his chin on his hand, a little surprised. He felt every part of his body tingle. He gasped, realizing for the first time that he was holding his breath. What was it anyway? The music, no, the voice was seeping into him and messing with his every little space. He felt an immense urge to smile and mingle with the audience, which was screaming and singing. He looked around to see if he was the only one who felt it, but the other members were just waiting their turn to step in, some nodding in rhythm, all used to the voice. As he should be. Siwon sighed and shook his head, smiling confusedly. It wasn't the first time he'd heard Kyuhyun sing, wasn't it, but he felt every part of his body vibrate as if it were.

My Other Me

A girl passed out with long hair on the floor, dressed in an equally long Hanbok, shod in shiny red shoes like Dorothy's from The Wizard of Oz on one foot and the other tucked into her dress, a small, deep cut on her head and shards of glass drawing your silhouette. While adventure stories start with someone walking through a door, this one starts with a girl who tried to get through and couldn't.

One year. It's been exactly a year since I lost the one I love. And every place I go is a daydream that comes to mind. Yes, daydreams, those terrible things that torment us and make our lives so difficult, painful. Why no, it never was and never will be easy to remember your eyes, your smiles, and see that I don't have them anymore. Seeing that I wasn't able to save everything I had most precious in my entire life.
