No dia de seu décimo oitavo aniversário, Théo recebe um envelope misterioso contendo uma fotografia que não deveria existir. Nela, ele aparece ao lado de pessoas que não reconhece e de quem não guarda nenhuma lembrança. Intrigado com a imagem e determinado a descobrir quando e onde aquela foto foi tirada, Théo segue as poucas pistas que possui até Bardo, uma pequena cidade do interior de São Paulo cercada por histórias estranhas e segredos que parecem ter sido esquecidos pelo tempo.
