“After ten years of regularly attending Nyah, I don't know of any other author besides Marylin C who is capable of creating a fantastic plot with traces of a crime thriller and touches of romance with such mastery. We begin with a threat to the King of Spain that puts agent Hector Martinez into action and in a few paragraphs we find ourselves involved in a much larger and more complex plot. The characters are all very captivating (especially Rafael and Hipólita) and plural, cultural conflicts and various forms of prejudice are in evidence at all times, meaning that En El Medio does not distance itself from real problems that arise present even in worlds full of magic. One of my favorite reads and one that constantly makes me disturb the author for more, thank you for presenting us with what I consider to be her best work ever posted here ♥”
