The city is small and we are rooting for the team. In a small town everyone knows each other and each one has a specific role within the society where he is inserted. When the city madman includes a murderer in his status quo an investigation is necessary.
A photography student opens a metal box forgotten at the back of his grandfather's closet. Inside: old negatives, notebooks his grandfather never let anyone read, a sheet music dedicated to someone no one in the family knows, and a little red beanie that, after thirteen years stored away, is still warm. The grandfather can no longer travel. The answers stayed in the North, in a village that may not even exist anymore. So the grandson goes in his place, in the middle of the Círio de Nazaré, with a camera, a best friend who refuses to stay home, and the feeling that some photos hold more than they show. Twelve photos. Eleven empty places. And what was left out of the frame.
An unknown disease is consuming the lives of the inhabitants of Lontúrnia. Refusing to lose her parents, Morgana abandons her home and sets out in search of a cure, guided only by rumors of a mysterious alchemist who lives in the depths of the Trebor Forest. Alongside a young scholar named Apolo, the veteran hunter known as Lobo, and the tracker Kira, she will face beasts, forgotten ruins, and the dangers of a world too vast to be understood. But the greatest threat may not be in the forest. For the closer they get to the alchemist, the more questions arise. Who is the man who lives isolated among monsters? Why does his name appear in stories told for generations? And why do his eyes seem to carry the weight of centuries? As Morgana's hope dwindles with each passing day, she will discover that some answers have a higher price than she imagined.
Lobo and Ethan were on their way to study the pillar on which the insidious seal was made when the mage had an epiphany and told Lobo to go back in time before him. The druid followed his friend's advice, but, unlike what he expected, he did not return to a point in his past: he arrived at a completely new place, where a figure both familiar and unknown awaited him.
For years, Lídia Sampaio considered the dogs of Jacarandás Street an assault on civilized coexistence. So when a morning dawns without a single bark, her first reaction is gratitude. The gratitude, however, does not last long. In Vila Olaria, animals begin to disappear, inexplicable marks appear on the walls, and certain houses begin to harbor spaces that should never exist. While the residents seek explanations reasonable enough to continue their routines, Lídia discovers that there are far worse inconveniences than a noisy neighborhood. Between supernatural horror, everyday absurdity, and the melancholy of small absences, the tale investigates what we have learned to ignore, especially when its warnings blend with the usual noises of life.
