Beyond The Barricade
Why did Marius prefer Cosette, the innocent child, to the fighter and revolutionary Éponine? Why did Enjolras die for France? Was there a forbidden love he was falsely trying to avoid? How does that relate to Grantaire's drinking so much? And most of all, what would Gavroche do in the midst of them all? "History books forgot about us. And the Bible didn't mention us. Not even once."

“What can I say about one of the most perfect fics I've ever had the privilege of reading? nWell, I don't know, because anything I say won't come close to what this wonderful author writes, but I'll try nTo begin with, it's about "Les Miserables", it's a rarity to find someone who manage to write a long film about them, and portray each of the characters perfectly. nIt's the kind of story that makes you want more and more even when you don't have it. nVery well written, without any errors in Portuguese or in agreement with the rest of the story. She says what needs to be said, without more or less. nAnd that's the main point I'm recommending it for: writing. nA simple but poetic writing. Beautiful, the kind that makes us reflect and fall in love with each of the characters and pays attention to each of them (I found myself rooting for couples I never imagined). nI'm really touched by the magical and perfect way this author writes. And by the way, this author is super friendly and cute when it comes to responding to reviews! nEach chapter. with its respective music and photo, showing the affection with which she writes nWell, even for those who haven't read the book, I recommend you read the fic, I'm very happy to have had the opportunity to read this story nSeriously, I just have to thank her for writing this and ask that she never leaves us without this fic!”
