TWENTY-ONE GANG

A re-reading of the poem "Quadrilha", by Carlos Drummond de Andrade, made in 1930. Like the inspiring work, "quadrilhavintee1" portrays the current affairs of the early 21st century and the structural form of each verse , stanza and the poem itself, counting on the title and dealing with several structures, are a form of artistic expression of revolt with everything that is surrounding contemporary Brazilian society. the revolt is justified by the standards imposed and placed on a "normative" pedestal (even in writing), the way in which mental disorders are treated, prejudices (racial, homoaffective and gender), by the time cut off from our days (that's why the title is empty and minuscule), by machismo and femicide. WRITTEN WITH THE COLLABORATION OF FABIANA M. T. PRADO

This Pain Is So Real

The girl next to you looks happy Always smiling as much as her lips can And you look the same every time you see her And I'm still here Isolated in my unhappy loneliness I wanted to know if you guys know how much you destroy me And say that I hate, I hate it so much, and I love, I love you Like all defects in themselves
