The stories about Reverse Falls always revolve around Pacifica and Gideon for being the good guys, rather than having the villains as protagonists, which would fit more with the fact that it's a universe where everything reverses. Besides, the original twins had a good life, with good family and friends, so why not talk about a worse past for them in this other universe? Mabel and Dipper move into their grandpa Stan's house when something happens to their parents.
