Happy New Year, Shion
"That "see you later" at Christmas ended up becoming routine and the routine ended up making room for other feelings besides simple and pure love. They didn't need more than to be together and just be able to enjoy each other's silence. The New Year arrived and the harsh winter was present too. It snowed a lot and both always went for a walk after dinner. Shion as always laughed at something Nezumi said or just got annoyed easily for the same reason."

For Shion, Nezumi could easily be compared to the stars in the vast sky and universe.
"I've seen him fall asleep so many times, but I've never seen him fall asleep next to me, with his arms around my waist, and although his expression was calm, there was that thing that when he woke up, he wouldn't find me here anymore and that's why I had arms wrapped around my waist."
A year had passed since the wall separating No.6 from the West Block had fallen. A year since Nezumi sealed her lips against Shion's for the second and last time. A year without any news until that Christmas Eve. [Nezumi x Shion | Christmas 2016]

Above all, there was love between them. (They would never think they could fix what was wrong, the broken parts they carried.) Enough love to fit between the cracks, to settle - even if precariously, as they were only attempts, and they could still learn - the renewed relationship. (Love capable of nourishing them enough to make them want to restructure themselves.)
One Christmas night, Shion and Nezumi spent a moment alone. What could happen?
