Después del último instante en aquel campo de sombras, Bruno abre los ojos en un lugar desconocido: un prado sin alambrados, sin gritos, sin miedo. A su lado está Shmuel, el niño del pijama de rayas, con la misma mirada tranquila de siempre. Ambos descubren que ya no pertenecen al mundo que los dividió, sino a uno nuevo, donde el dolor se disuelve en la luz y la amistad permanece intacta. Entre recuerdos, risas y promesas, los dos niños exploran un cielo que al fin les pertenece.
