Dance Club - Life Is a Surprise
"Have you ever thought about what happens in the life of that person you see every day, but you haven't exchanged a single word before judging them?" Not everyone has that family judged as perfect, not everyone has the support they should, and Enzo the Arts teacher knew this and decided to improve many things in the lives of young people, he has the idea that changes everything , the idea that changed lives. With Enzo's idea, people who had everything to hate each other, discover that they can be inseparable friends and that a friend is sometimes better than hours crying in the bedroom. “Friendship is not chosen, judged or moved away, friendship is something stronger than relatives, since friends are the second family that understands you” Come be part of the Dance Club, as well as Kurt, China, Lea, Sam, Autumn, Curtis and Tatanka.

“Dance Club... How can I begin to describe Dance Club? So, if you are a fan of Glee, High School Musical, and other “teen musical” style things (which, I confess, I have a huge crush on), you will certainly like Dance Club. Here, the teenagers are part of a dance club, rather than a choir, however, the references are everywhere! However, Dance Club is not a cheap copy, or anything like that. NO! The originality is present here, pleasing even those who don't like Glee, for example. It lives up to the title too. There are definitely surprising moments about the lives of these young people and best of all: adults are not left out. It's not one of those stories where the parents don't even appear, or where the teachers are just unimportant extras. Now, we come (finally) to my favorite part of this story: as expected in a JPoseidon story, there is no shortage of representation. Ethnicities, gender issues and different sexual and romantic orientations... They have their place in DC, kind of “upgrading” what Glee tried (in some cases succeeded, in others not) to do for the LGBTQ+ community. These representations are very well crafted and constructed with great responsibility (which is important, after all, we want representation, but we don't want it done poorly). This story deserves to be read, it is fantastic. You won't regret it.”
