I'll Fight My Corner

Sergeant Thomas Barrow returns to Downton, a hand crippled, not by the enemy's bullet, but by his misshapen selfishness and supreme cowardice. Thomas didn't want to think about the truth, he preferred the hero image that had been attributed to him by no one but himself, since no one really cared. Even though he knew that if it had really been an accidental injury, no one would applaud him or help him as they would any other injured combatant in their country's service. Because, after all, he was Thomas Barrow. Isolated within his new position at Downton, Thomas holds to his simple new way of acting, trying to be the winner he wanted to be, trying to be useful as he moved through the corridors of the hospital wing, trying to be pleasant; something unusual for him. Maybe it was the happiness of having returned to Downton, of finally getting out of the purgatory men called war, maybe it was age, maybe it was his recent promotion, he couldn't say. Unfortunately, Lieutenant Edward Courtenay was not in a favorable position to admire how war could transform people, make them more sensitive, and more united, for example, when all the popular came together to build the makeshift hospital at Downton where Lieutenant Courtenay now lay on a stretcher, his eyes swollen and blindfolded, his skin burning from the mustard gas.

Tom & Mary - musical journey

Tom Branson has become one of the most important people in Lady Mary and George's lives, but Tom still has doubts about whether to stay at Downton or not, will being so close to Mary do them any good? After the Last Breath

"I tried to keep myself apart, I rejected you for as long as my heart could resist you, today I understand that there was no way I could not have fallen in love with you, but believe me, I needed to never have known you not to love you. how I love him. I know George misses him, I miss him too."

When Tom lost the great love of his life, on the fateful day that Sybil died shortly after giving birth to their daughter Sybbie, Mary was his biggest supporter within the Crawley family. She was chosen by Tom to be Sybbie's godmother, and Mary promised herself to take care of her with all the affection and love that the girl would receive from her sister if she were still alive, but no one imagined that shortly afterward it would be Mary who would enjoy the bitter taste of losing his partner in a terrible car accident, when Matthew died shortly after meeting his newborn son. Now, it is Tom who wants to repay Mary's comfort and support, and he will fight with all his strength to help her overcome the grief. But what happens when the bonds of love, friendship and companionship become too strong to be broken by any other possibility of relationship with a third person? What if they discover that the reason they are able to bear so much pain in their lives is because of the affection they found in each other? What if this love until recently considered absurd took over their hearts without them realizing it? What if it's too late to try to hide it, smother it, deny it and living far away from each other is out of the question? Then we will find out if this feeling will be really strong to overcome all the barriers that will be raised against this union, where the complications are many, such as: prejudice from the whole society, financial problems, non-acceptance of the family , conflict of thoughts, education, social position.... Follow the slow process where the love between Tom and Mary will unfold
