It was early in the morning. Jared Fawcett, a famous American rock singer, has just been found lifeless, hugging a shattered bottle of whiskey, the contents of which leaked after the star fell from the balcony of his apartment located on the seventh floor of a building in one of the top rated neighborhoods of Mentris. Everything would point to suicide, if it weren't for his swollen and dark red body from an alleged high voltage shock. Informal detective Steve S. Alben was hired a year later to reinvestigate the case by Jared's father because he didn't believe the police hypothesis.
