Restart foi uma banda brasileira de pop rock formada em 2008 por Pe Lanza (voz e guitarra), Pe Lu (voz e baixo), Koba (guitarra solo) e Thomas (bateria). A banda alcançou grande sucesso no Brasil, principalmente entre o público adolescente, com seu estilo musical contagiante e letras românticas. O grupo ganhou destaque após participar do programa "Qual é o Seu Talento?", do SBT, onde conquistaram o primeiro lugar. Em seguida, lançaram seu álbum de estreia, intitulado "Recomeçar", que incluía sucessos como "Levo Comigo" e "Vou Cantar". O disco foi um enorme sucesso comercial, vendendo mais de 150 mil cópias. Em 2010, a banda lançou seu segundo álbum, chamado "Restart". Nesse trabalho, destacaram-se as músicas "Pra Você Lembrar" e "Menina Estranha". O álbum também fez muito sucesso e consolidou a popularidade da banda no cenário musical brasileiro. No ano seguinte, em 2011, lançaram o terceiro álbum de estúdio intitulado "Happy Rock Sunday". Esse disco trouxe uma sonoridade mais madura para a banda, explorando elementos do rock alternativo. Algumas das faixas mais conhecidas são "Matemática" e "Amanhecer no Teu Olhar". Apesar do sucesso inicial, a banda enfrentou algumas polêmicas ao longo dos anos. Muitas vezes foram alvos de críticas por parte da mídia especializada e também sofreram com o preconceito de alguns segmentos da sociedade que não aceitavam seu estilo musical mais pop e sua imagem colorida. Em 2015, a banda anunciou uma pausa por tempo indeterminado para que cada integrante pudesse se dedicar a projetos pessoais. Desde então, os membros da Restart seguiram caminhos distintos na carreira musical. Apesar do fim da banda, o legado do Restart no cenário pop brasileiro é inegável. Eles foram responsáveis por conquistar uma legião de fãs e deixaram sua marca na história da música brasileira.
