“The first part of a trilogy, "What I Did For Love" is a light, humorous and fun oneshot that manages to charm and captivate readers with a simple and beautiful love story. Taking advantage of the textual structure of a letter and a list to innovate the use of flashback, the story presents a unique structure that manages to advance the story, going backwards when necessary, without compromising its development. Furthermore, it uses many narrative devices to extract a very engaging humor and knows, very consciously, where to fit the most dramatic and romantic moments. The characters are charismatic and very likable; It's very easy to relate to them just in the first few lines. And the unfolding of their dynamics was what particularly enchanted me most about the story. With great skill, Heitor Lobo delivers more than promised with his beautiful oneshot. It's a fun, cute and humorous story, full of good narrative flavors that keep us reading. In my opinion, it is a great story that deserves to be recommended for other readers to enjoy. Sincerely, Mr. PandaJao!”
