::: Poseidon & Athena ::: "Christmas Eve, for everyone else, meant a time to get together with family and spend the night celebrating, wishing them happiness, blessings, successes for the year ahead. Thanking you for the good times that year. For Athena, it meant crossing the state and helping Artemis deal with the disastrous tradition Zeus had created ten years earlier."

What if the primordials finally got tired of the constant failures of their descendants and wanted to change everything? What if they organized the biggest reading in the world and invited everyone. "What exactly are you guys doing?" Nico asked incredulously. He was learning that even though his sister's friends were considered geniuses in their respective fields of expertise when it came to dodgy adventures they more or less shared the same neuron as any stupid teen movie protagonist. It was rather disconcerting to see so many people with so little sense of self-preservation together. "Best idea we've ever had," Clarisse answered seriously. "It's the adventure of our lives," Annabeth agreed solemnly. Thalia, Hazel, and Silena giggled in the background. "That... doesn't seem like a good idea to me" Nico said at last. "O man of little faith!" Piper exclaimed dramatically. They did that a lot, Nico noticed: saying things as dramatically as possible. He felt a headache forming. "It's going to be all right," Hazel reassured. "People know what they're doing." Nico just raised an eyebrow, in a clear expression of doubt. This only elicited yet another burst of giggles from the girls. Where have I gotten myself into, he thought. (New version of True Love)
