Emma Carter is a young woman like any other, who, however, carries with her an enormous sadness and rancor of hurts and secrets from her past. Alone in the world, deprived of the company of friends or family, she does everything possible and impossible to not need anyone and continue her independent life. However, on her 20th birthday, something unusual happens: she receives a gift and a letter. “As it's my first recommendation, nothing more fair than making it for this fanfiction! Curiosity was what motivated me to give the fic a chance, but I confess that I didn't expect much because I was a little discouraged by the stories in the fandom. The business was so serious that I didn't even look in the category anymore. But what started out of mere curiosity became one of the best fanfics I've ever read. I don't regret stopping to read it: the plot is engaging, the narrative is fluid and very pleasant to follow, the characters are charismatic (Emma ♥) and the main thing is that the plot manages to perfectly capture Silent Hill without exaggeration. When reading we can feel all the tension and psychological terror characteristic of games, just as we can identify with the characters. Everything is well designed and easy to understand. This fanfic has all the elements for a good narrative... And it could very well be an official novel of the franchise, right? So if you're looking for a good story from the saga, I recommend reading Silent Hill: Shadows of the Past! And EddieJJ keep up the good work, because he really deserves congratulations! ♥”

However, the creatures that still inhabit the Sphere have other plans for them.
