Nothing much happened in the city of Los Angeles, more precisely in the life of Laura Marano, a 16-year-old teenager, until one day a tragedy happens and her parents end up dying. She finds herself without ground and without anyone until by chance a couple invites her to stay with them for a while this couple was Mark and Stormie who were great childhood friends of her parents, upon arriving at her new home she comes across her new “stepbrother” Ross Lynch the most popular 16-year-old boy in school that she practically hated. She didn't even think much about the possibility that he would ever end up talking to her even if they lived in the same house or slept in the next room, even her being more "anti-social" than most of the girls who lived around the blonde. But what she never imagined was that the blonde would be able to gain her attention in a way so easy and fast but at the same time frightening that it would make her completely change her thoughts and feelings about the boy.
