Lizzy Bennett has always been a determined, yet lonely woman. She doesn't have a boyfriend and is always working. Her only family is her sister Jane. She and her two friends, Meredith and Joshua. Her whole life changes when she meets a strange man at the bar, who hands her a cell phone, as an apology for breaking hers when he bumps into her. Lizzy doesn't want the gift and tries to return it, but he leaves without giving her the chance. Then, on a walk in the park with her dog Boris, she feels her cell phone vibrate in her pocket.
