Germany, 1940, heyday of the Second World War and also of the Holocaust. Anne, Aryan, daughter of one of the concentration camp generals, responsible for the death of countless Jews. Ralf, son of Jews, condemned and facing death. These two young people meet, and begin to live their first great love and possibly their last.
In the story Bruno is frustrated to learn that he will have to move from his giant house in Berlin and away from his three best friends to Haja Vista to go after his father who has been promoted from his position in the German army. When he arrives in Haja vista he finds himself alone in a boring place. From his room you can see a fenced-in place full of people in 'striped pajamas' (which was actually a concentration camp). One day a curiosity strikes and Bruno manages to go there.
shmuel was a Jewish boy, who tried to give the best for his mother since his father died, his mother was called Kiara, and he couldn't support the house, pay rent, and buy his son's materials with only his cleaning jobs, then shmuel helped her by being a shoeshine boy, one beautiful day in the year 1939, some armed soldiers arrived who took them to a large concentration camp, and since then shmuel and Kiara tried to escape from this concentration camp.
