Narrator: Every chapter of the wonderful novel The Time Traveller's Wife, by Audrey Niffenegger, is the story of Clare and Henry (the time traveler), obviously there are other characters, but the author doesn't give them due importance. In this fanfiction I have the mission to relate the story of Charisse and Gomez, to tell how my imagination thinks certain things were not reported by the author in the book.
I didn't make the cover. It's from Editora Suma, just to put the deserved credits. I was inspired by the book "The time traveler's wife" to write this poem.
The chapter "Alba, an Introduction" of the book "The Time Traveller's Wife" chronicles Henry DeTamble's first meeting with his daughter, Alba, from Henry's perspective. I decided to reverse the situation and see how this meeting (which for Alba would not be the first) would be like from her daughter's perspective. I hope you enjoy.
Felicity Smoak is the lost daughter of Anatoly Knyazev, leader of the Russian mafia. Years after her disappearance, her father decides to look for her, to serve the family's purposes: marrying the leader of another mafia, so they can unite the two factions. Anatoly tasks the newest member of the Bratvas, Oliver Queen, with bringing his daughter back. A mission that should be simple, but that proves to be dangerous when unexpected feelings begin to arise between the two. In the midst of a deadly war filled with secrets, betrayals and lies, will they be able to fight their own hearts?
“... No matter how great the distance seems, we can just close our eyes and focus on what we feel. Close your eyes now, Felicity. Can you feel how close I am to you? From your heart? Do you realize that no distance is able to change that? I will always carry your love with me, wherever I go. Always yours, Oliver Queen”
