Amu is 16 and Ikuto is 21. Amu moved to her grandmother's house to help her with her cousin's fragile health, her parents had to stay at home because of their jobs and Ami. Tadase and the other guardians continue to communicate with Amu, as does Utau. Ikuto was the only one who lost touch. Now for the real synopsis. The guardians plan to get together, Amu will stay at Nagihiko's house, Utau will cancel a dinner show with the whole gang, Ikuto will come back to see everyone but doesn't expect to see Amu, in fact he has a another girlfriend, they will have a big party and everyone will meet.
