Após os eventos de Ares e Tube, a Irmandade do Zodíaco Planetário parecia desfrutar de dias de tranquilidade. Porém, toda essa paz vai por água abaixo quando chega à Terra uma terrível ameaça interestelar; o Império Crisis. Initially peaceful, this empire begins an uprising against the surface, with the aim of imposing a scorched earth policy, after the rise of the cruel Zeba to the throne of Tube. Informed of the existence of the Brotherhood formed by the Knights of Athena and the Lunar Sailors, Zeba is enchanted by the beauty of the planetary princesses and orders their abduction. Lita (Sailor Jupiter) falls into the clutches of her enemies, becoming their prisoner, to the sadness and fury of Shiryu (Dragon), beginning a violent war that promises much bloodshed.
