Murder in Hollywood

Synopsis

At age 25, Wednesday Addams has become a horror and thriller writer. She signs a contract to have one of her books adapted for a movie and moves to L.A. She'll have to deal with a new kind of horror she's never encountered before: spoiled, self-centered artists. Like Mia Thompson, she is currently the most in-demand actress in the art world. Also, the Addams heiress is still in for a big surprise. Someone is plagiarizing her, killing people in Hollywood, just like in her book.

“If you like those thrillers that make you rack your brains, imagining a bunch of theories, all with a good pinch of dark humor very typical of the Addams family, this is the right place. Wandinha achieves her independence and goes to live in LA, to assiduously follow the recordings of the film that will adapt one of her books. However, fulfilling this contract will be more difficult than anything, so many bizarre events on the film set will catch the attention of even her, who must have already seen everything k. The cool thing here is to see how the author builds this web of events, planting clues that are very intriguing, leading us little by little and instigating the creation of several theories. She knows how to feed this curiosity, giving only the information necessary for the intelligent progress of the narrative. In fact, she can have a few laughs in the meantime. The characters are very interesting and we find ourselves rooting for them, at the same time we are suspicious, at the same time we sympathize or even dislike them, creating a relationship with the whole, which I also find very positive when we are reading a story. Parallel to all this, there is some really cool information in the notes, curiosities and also explanations about one or another point about the Addams family. I finish by saying that you will be quite surprised, with bombastic and delicious events, typical of those we read in detective novels, you know?”

Addams Curse

The Addamses' youngest son was cursed by Aunt Debbie when he was a baby. Despite returning to normal, as the years passed, his family noticed that Pubert became increasingly healthy. Fluffy cheeks, high dimples, and bright eyes. There was nothing Grandma Addams could do, her great-grandson was destined to be a healthy, loving young man for the rest of his life. And what was left was to accept and love him, even though he was so strange...

“No jumping to conclusions, Thornhill. – says Weems – she has been working a lot these last few days. “No, I…um. I didn't think of anything. - answers the woman. The teacher couldn't help but look at Wandinha one more time. She really does seem to be dozing peacefully in the lap of the most feared and respected person in the school, not to mention the entire region because the rumor was well known that the director of Never Again had the sheriff and mayor of Jericho in the palm of her hand. And stranger still, Thornhill had never seen Wandinha so close to someone, she wasn't much for touching, much less lying down and falling asleep in someone else's lap. The scene was really amazing.

In the vast and indifferent fabric of space-time, where improbability is a constant and logic is rarely invited for tea, there exists the Department of Interdimensional Bureaucracy (DIB). Its purpose? To ensure that reality remains minimally functional or, at least, sufficiently confusing so that no one notices otherwise. But something went wrong. Horribly, catastrophically, fill-out-three-copies-of-reports wrong. Immanuel Breckford, a man whose greatest achievement until then was remembering where he left his keys, unexpectedly finds himself involved in one of the DIB's most catastrophic failures. Upon receiving a Temporary Ontological Adjustment Request Form 42/B, his existence is recalculated. To correct this cosmic blunder, the DIB sends Artemis Xyllan-7, Senior Auditor and specialist in metaphysical disasters. Armed with an expired stopwatch, a pen that alters probabilities, and the patience of a black hole, she has little time (and even less desire) to fix the problem before the universe decides to file Immanuel away permanently.
