Andromeda Black is in her last year at Hogwarts, having to go through some difficulties to make her relationship official with Edward Tonks, better known as Ted. The two have been seeing each other in secret for over a year now, and rumors about the couple are increasingly fluent. Having to worry about this, what her less-than-tolerant family would think of her relationship, a proposal, N.I.E.M.s and what she will do with her life when she graduates from high school, Andromeda feels as if there are several doors open for her - but all located at the end of a very long corridor, where surviving to the end would already be a profit.

“Eu estou bem atrasada nessa recomendação, mas isso não importa, porque "Além do Sangue" precisa ser recomendada! Fiquei muito triste quando vi que a fic há muito não era atualizada, ainda não superei que uma fanfic tão perfeita como essa tenha estagnado. Mas enfim, estou recomendando esta fic porque a autora foi um tanto quanto criativa idealizando a história desse casal realmente pouco significante (em termos gerais) para a série "Harry Potter". A autora também foi extremamente talentosa ao desenvolver um enredo tão envolvente, além de super bem escrito. Tenho certeza de que se alguém que se interessa pelo casal "Tedromeda" ler essa fic, não vai ter do que não gostar. Ainda mantenho as esperanças de que a autora voltará a postar capítulos nessa fanfic que é tão emocionante!”
