The story takes place during the events of the Star Trek movie in the dark. Specifically, it shows the two-week gap while Jim is unconscious after his death from radiation from the reactor. After Spock loses Jim, his psyche is thrown into disarray. He can't sleep well or even meditate, his mind keeps going back to the day Jim was killed by the reactor's radiation. Spock is trying his best to regain his sanity as he faces his responsibilities as deputy captain of the Enterprise, and seeks to balance his strained and painful relationship with Uhura. The Story will give a broader view of the feelings and perceptions of the characters in the scenes of the film. In the meantime, the next few chapters will focus on the two weeks that Jim is unconscious. And they showed how Spock and McCoy went through and felt everything. The other part of the story will focus on after Jim wakes up, mainly on Spock and Jim's relationship.
