Mono awakens in the Shrine of Worship, a priori unaware of where he is. Now, with only the mare Agro for company and a mysterious baby with horns, who was abandoned at the scene, she must learn to survive in the inhospitable paradise. This exciting journey covers the events after the game's cutscenes and also reveals the origins of Mono and Wander, before all the tragedy.

After the events with Wander in Shadow of The Colossus, his beloved Mono finally wakes up from eternal sleep but alone in the desolation of the Forbidden Land. Then begins a new journey where she has to fight for her survival in those ancestral wastes.

Love, a strange word, not a way to explain what love is, it's something you would do anything for your loved one to even challenge things that would be untouchable and unimaginable by human eyes, even risk your life, but if you love someone fight and never give up even if it means you might die, and that's what a young man thousands of years ago did prove that not even the deities and surreal beings were in the barrier of his love.
