Nuance of Appearances
In a village at the foot of Mount Carbon, near Rivia, a strange encounter can lead to enigmatic relationships and fierce rivalry. A certain witch, intoxicated by the routine of the Way, decides to combine the useful with the pleasant: a cockatrice contract in the mountains brings him closer to a visit to the sister of consideration in Amores, a community recently built after the years that followed the withdrawal of the Blacks. This witch, however, has particularities and little can imagine what will happen when another witch, inconsequential and angry, crosses his path in the hunt for a cockatrice. This is an account of an episode in the life of an ordinary wizard.
