More than the sun
A new race rules the planet. The land has been lost and the last survivors live silently, in hiding and in fear of capture. The people were decimated, but their bodies are still alive, now being inhabited by a form of alien consciousness. And when humans and souls meet there is always death for one of the parties. However, some souls found redemption right in the midst of their human enemies. They have now found their home. And the soul named Cal is one of them. As the hatred is still latent, there is not always acceptance. Samantha Collins has been hardened by time and learned that she shouldn't trust anyone. There is no room for feelings in this new era. Taking care of her brother and staying alive is her only goal. Which makes the forced coexistence with the humans hiding in Jeb's cave even more difficult, even more so after realizing that someone she loves is now just the body Peregrina uses. “A wonderful story, very well constructed that makes its characters very exciting, and at the same time is faithful to the characters of the original story. I felt like I was reading the official continuation of the book, she certainly took the world of the host to a new level with her reflections and ideas. I doubt anyone will read it and not be enchanted by Lime's narrative, so little explored by Stephanie and which left many curious.
