The cold Arthur Kirkland was sent on British navigations to an archipelago in particular, which by chance had caught the Queen's attention for the amount of local raw material, and as a representative of an intelligent world power of the time, was investing in that country called Japan, before for the Portuguese to dominate it at once. Despite being very friendly with the men who worked on the ship, he was never one to regret his love life; he was terribly lonely, but he didn't feel the slightest desire to hit on a woman, none interested him, they even thought it was homosexuality, but he also never showed interest in men. Arrived in the territory, he accidentally meets Sakura Honda, an alleged cleaning lady at a very "peculiar" lodging house who suffered mistreatment at the hands of her boss. After witnessing one of those unpleasant moments in front of her, the Englishman is curiously moved and takes her away from that place; he teaches her English and some of his customs, and they soon become friends. Would it be the blonde's heart's turn to start beating once and for all?
