Em uma de suas missões de reconhecimento,o capitão dos Maverick Hunters,X,junto com dois novatos acabam recebendo um sinal de atividade Maverick no polo norte,na Antiga Base dos X-Hunters abandonada há muito tempo atrás.Com Isso,uma investigação é dado início e ao chegaram,X investiga uma máquina estranha,até que de repente uma criatura desconhecida ataca um grupo e um dos novatos acaba acidentalmente esbarrando na máquina que transporta X para outro lugar. Agora,era necessário saber onde X foi e por que aquele monstro atacou eles.
