We are in the year 1428, 15th century, in the time when vampires lived freely among us, without having to hide their real identity. The main leader of the vampire elite is Count Dracula: He decides whether someone will be turned or not. Sixteen years ago Dracula took a trip to Europe; he was on the run from the Transylvanian hunters. In France he met a vampire named Munich Van Hallen, with whom he fell madly in love. And, shortly after returning to his castle, he received the news that Munich was pregnant. She gave birth to a baby girl, Diane. Dracula vaguely remembered the girl, as she had only seen her a few times, but whenever she remembered, he felt a different feeling than he used to. On Diane's 14th birthday, hunters broke into the Van Hallen castle and slaughtered the entire family. Diane was the only one who managed to escape. She managed to reach her father through hitchhiking. And she lives with him to this day. When a vampire turns 17, they have the choice of undergoing the transformation by drinking blood from a human after beating them, or starving to death, as the changes take hold in their body in three days. Will Diane go through the transformation?
