13 The Pyrus Fever

At dawn Asami wakes up and screams in fear, Haku and Serena run to the hut to see what was going on, and they see Perya covered in burn marks with the Pyrus symbol on the palm of her hand, touching her Asami realizes that she was extremely hot, Serena tries to cool her down by covering her body with cold water, Haku tries to analyze Perya to find out what was going on, he then finds out she has Pyrus Fever, he says this is a rare disease that happens with only the most powerful fire users on Solaria, Asami asks if there is anything she could do to help, he says unfortunately this was not a physical illness but a mental illness, the effects of this illness makes the victim have to face the worst version of herself, and unfortunately there was no known cure that was on its own.

Perya wakes up and realizes she was in a completely dark and empty place, but she realizes that there was someone else with her, when she tries to get closer to ask what was going on, she is suddenly attacked by that same person, she manages to defend herself and dodge, she shoots a huge sphere of fire to create a certain amount of light so she can see who was attacking her, and when she can see her opponent she realizes that it was actually herself that was attacking her, at that moment she realized who had Pyrus fever because she had studied about it when she was still on Solaria, she knows she needs to defeat her worst version at any cost and so she starts fighting by activating her flaming gloves, and goes for the top with 100% power to end the fight as quickly as possible, but its other version also activates the gloves as they were both the same person, as they have the same fighting style all their attacks are blocked, she tries to use them. sar of everything but they have the same strength, she starts trying other things to catch her version by surprise, but she always adapts to counterattack and then she gets stronger and stronger, Perya then remembers that the longer she gets it passes, the stronger its worst version becomes until the victim succumbs and eventually surrenders to the disease, she then decides to use all her power in one attack, so she uses the Fire Dragon God's Roar, but her other version also uses the same attack and manages to overcome its original version and then it is knocked down and falls to the ground. From Asami's point of view Perya's burn marks start to spread across her body, she becomes desperate as she realizes that Perya is losing the fight and couldn't do anything to help, she then starts screaming for Perya not to give up and says no matter what happens she would never leave her side.

Perya then begins to hear Asami's screams, and realizes that if she succumbed to the disease, she would make everyone who mattered to her very sad and that she too would never have a chance to win the tournament and ask the Gods where she came from, she then starts to get up to try one more time, her other version is surprised because she can feel that Perya was also getting stronger as the fight unfolds there, she manages to catch up and starts to surpass herself more and more and for at the end she once again uses the Fire Dragon God's Roar to finish the fight, and in the end she manages to win her worst version, when Perya finally wins she thought she would just wake up in the real world, but she was still in that world of darkness, and when she realizes her other version had risen but instead of attacking she starts to speak, but it wasn't her own voice she was listening to, but the voice of a creature, she then asks who was this keep talking, and then the creature turns out to be Pyrus, the Fire Dragon God.
