Perya then shares some of her heat to the others so they don't freeze as she and Kratos have a high resistance to cold from their firebending characteristics, and so they start walking to cross the zone without crossing paths with the fire-eater. souls, because they had to walk all the way, it would take them at least two weeks to be able to cross the whole place without alerting the soul eater, but on some occasions they would come across it and had to hide so they wouldn't get caught, after a week without finding him they decide to relax however, they are suddenly surprised by the devourer who managed to hit Tera and Haku and was heading towards Serena, Perya then decides to fire a huge blast of energy to distract him while Asami, Serena and Kratos flee with Tera and Haku's bodies, she decides that she is going to defeat this devourer so that everyone can return to normal, Perya then decides to concentrate an enormous amount of heat into a single point. to and shoots in a beam of fire so concentrated that it looked like a laser beam and hits the blow, but it still wasn't enough because he had recovered from the damage he had received in a few moments, Perya then decides to use the Fire God Dragon Roar at full strength at point blank range to completely disintegrate him, she then starts charging the energy to use at full strength, after charging enough energy she shoots towards him dodging all attacks and manages to fire her blow by doing so. with which the devourer of souls dissipated.

After defeating the devourer, she goes to the others to see if there was any way to save her friends, but as she had defeated the creature, her friends returned to normal and then she says that they could already return to normal, however she says it would be better if they keep walking just in case, they agree and a week later they manage to leave Icelands and now it would be just a month to arrive in Olceos.
